We went to a ice cream social at the ME. Church in the evening. We got word to wait until the 6 o'clock train to get Frank & Deming so waited but they did not come, but Leon come from Niagara Falls. It was a good day but cold wind. Nov. 11 - Tuesday It was a nice warm day. Icleaned out the privy & went to the woods & got some shumac for stakes &then banked up the privy. Rose& I went down to Maties in the evening. Dec.16 - Thursday Mike helped me kill our hog. It weighed 292. Dec.17 — Friday Rose & I went to Tully in the little sleigh. It was thin sleighing from VetSmith's to Tully. Mike & Meg & Willie was down. I sold Bell 10 bushel cats at .55 cents. Dec.18 — Saturday I packed my pork. I helped Rose squeeze out lard. Rose& Icleaned up 10bushel oat for Bell. ArtPierce come & got 10 1/2lbs butter at .32 cents a pound for Nate. He did not pay for it. We give him a liver. Itsnowed most all day & waspretty windy. Dec.19 - Sunday Rose& I stayed at home. Dec. 20 - Monday Rose & I went to Tully. I took down 11 bushel & 13 lbs. of cats to Bell at .55 cents a bushel. I went in the little sleigh.
